The Education Gap
Science, Math, and English scores are at their lowest levels since the 1970s, and the disparities between communities are stark. In some areas, as few as 8% of students are proficient in science, while in others, that number climbs to 80%. This gap in education is leaving thousands of students behind, unprepared to enter the growing fields of biotechnology, engineering, and other STEM careers.
The Workforce Gap
With the biotechnology sector growing rapidly, we simply don’t have enough skilled talent to fill the pipeline. The lack of access to quality science education in many underserved communities contributes to this shortfall, leaving students behind and the industry struggling to find qualified professionals.

Our goal is to empower students to learn not only about technology and biotechnology but also how to work with nature and the environment.
